We traditionally stay at Super 8 in Danville but they were full when we reserved only the red roof inn was open that was close, when we got there Friday night we killed 4 stink bugs in the room and saw many other already dead stink bugs that were not cleaned up. We were patient and we are guys so we let that go a bit. Then my son started to undo the covers on his bed, he found a spot of blood on the sheet, another spot on the covers and then another spot on the bed spread, I immediately called the front desk and they sent the manager to the room. He was very apologetic and offered a discount and he made my son's bed personally and said they’d investigate and offered to move our room. We were tired and didn’t want to move rooms so we stayed while he made the bed. Move to today where of course the manager "forgot" to take the money off the bill, I had to remind them of the incident and the front desk knew about it they just hoped they wouldn’t have to give the discount which is pretty petty. I just find the work by the staff is lazy when covers and found bloody and we see stink bugs are all over and they offer 5% off the total bill??? Congrats on getting a customer that comes to the area yearly not to come back. On a positive note it's next to friendly's where the food is a step above average but not to the level of a normal friendly's.
Im a construction worker who stays here every week....room is nice and ac and heat work....heck all i do is sit around and drink beer and smoke reefer anyway so what do I care??
Nice people work there but very cold rooms and not the cleanest but good service
Basic, clean room. Friendly staff. Walking distance to restaurants. Easy highway access. Room was somewhat outdated, but worked well for a quick overnight stop on a road trip. I would stay there again.
Actually had a really good night sleep there. If you are towing a big trailer park out front don't pull into the parking lot. I had to back up into the Friendly's restaurant parking lot with a 20 foot uhaul and a flatbed trailer.
