On a road trip through Pennsylvania, my son discovered this little gem of a place using the Roadtrippers app. We had been driving for hours in a torrential storm and were delighted that they had space for us at the last minute. The accommodations were way beyond what we might have hoped for and the breakfast was divine! We'll have to make up a reason to go back again soon!!

My husband and I decided to stay in this adorable bed & breakfast during the Labor Day weekend while visiting friends that just moved to Danville. We loved absolutely everything about this place! It was warm and cozy, the decor was perfect (including the classy Halloween decorations), the staff were really accommodating, the beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud, the jacuzzi tub was a treat, and I cannot leave out the delicious breakfast and snacks. We even indulged on massages from Lonnie, their in-house masseuse. We both cannot wait to visit our friends again just so we can stay at Abigail House Bed & Breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here during a trip through the small towns of PA. I found it via Expedia and we could not be more pleased with our first experience in a B&B! Carol was very welcoming and had many thoughtful little touches around the place, from the snacks and drinks laid out for us, to the personal tour of the home and the story behind "Abigail" and Danville. She was flexible with the check in and allowed us to come a little later than check-in was advertised. The room was clean and comfortable, and I thought she did a wonderful job keeping the decor period-appropriate to the home. We highly recommend and would stay here again if we are ever in town!
The Scarlet room is worth the walk to the 3rd floor, jacuzzi tub was great.
We had a chance to explore Abigail House while enjoying a supper party with Mayberry Supper Club. The house is a delightful combination of opulence of the past and convenience of today. Our hosts were lovely people, delighted to share the history of the house with us.
