I have been a member of first Baptist Church Danville for over 40 years I have never appreciated the radio broadcast as much as I have these past two months . I am the full time caregiver of my elderly father and I have not been able to attend a church service . I now have listened to WPGM to be able to be part of the worship service .I am so thankful to be able to hear Pastor Dawes preach . God bless .
My home away from home!
I left another local church and went, with my then-young sons to First Baptist Church on New Year's Day, 1978. It became my home church that day and remains my home church to the present. My sons went through our Youth Group and Sunday school back in the day and my grandsons went through our Youth Group and Sunday school. A warm welcome greets everyone who comes to First Baptist. We love our church and our community.
